DevOps Engineer - GitHub - OpenShift - Scripting - Azure - This is a long term contract opportunity for our Basel based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Supporting the team in managing the DevOps platforms and tools
• Creating standards for DevSecOps improvements
• Liaising with the diverse development teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
• Documenting every aspect of a DevSecOps life cycle
• Collaborating with teams to facilitate migration to cloud-ready platforms
• Experimenting with new technologies and staying tuned with industry developments

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experience specializing as a DevOps Engineer with in-depth knowledge of best practices, branching strategies, GIT knowledge, and building and maintaining workflows
• Solid Scripting experience in TypeScript, PowerShell, or Bash, as well as strong background in GitHub
• Azure cloud experience is highly desirable
• A thorough understanding of agile methodologies, along with excellent documentation capabilities
• Familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, or Docker would be an advantage
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken

Your soft skills:

• Customer focused, with good communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and in a timely fashion
