We are looking for a Senior UI Designer (Design System) for our client in the industrial sector

Role Summary :

We are seeking a Senior UI Designer who will be a vital member of our design system team, responsible for designing and refining reusable UI components within Figma. This role requires deep expertise in UI design for both web and responsive environments, and a strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both designers and developers.

Responsibilities :

Collaborate with the Design System Architect to create and refine design tokens and component structures.

Design highly reusable, efficient UI components and ensure their alignment with our overall design language.

Spearhead the creation of our Figma Web UI Kit.

Provide expertise in web and responsive design, ensuring optimal usability across devices.

Work closely with developers to implement designs with precision, and to ensure fidelity and functionality in the final product.

Advocate for effective design practices and be able to articulate and defend design decisions to various stakeholders.

Assist with developing and maintain design guidelines

Explore and integrate micro-animations and graphic design enhancements to improve user engagement and experience.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a UI Designer within a design system team, particularly in building and managing component libraries in Figma.

Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web and responsive design.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage directly with diverse teams.

Solid track record of collaborating effectively with developers and designers.

Knowledge and practical experience with design tokens is preferred.

Proficiency in graphic design and an understanding of micro-animations; ability to apply these skills in UI design is highly desirable.

Proactive and self-directed with a high level of initiative and a 'can-do' attitude.

Experience writing design guidelines is a plus.

Location:

Client is based in Denmark but role can be completed remotely, ideally candidate will be based in the Nordics.
