Location: Castleford Country: UK Rate: £140 - £160 per day

What will you be doing?

As an IT Support Technician for the Trust, you will ensure seamless operation of technology infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network systems, and providing technical assistance to students and staff. You will also play a vital role in maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment, facilitating learning through technology, and supporting the educational mission of the school.

IT Support Technician - Essential Skills...

  • Computer hardware: Troubleshooting and maintenance of desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals like printers and scanners.
  • Operating systems: Support for various operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS, ensuring they run smoothly and are up to date.
  • Software applications: Installation, configuration, and support for educational software, productivity suites, learning management systems, and other specialized applications used in the schools.
  • Mobile devices: Configuration and support for smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices used by students and staff, including device management and security policies.
  • Full drivers licence and own Vehicle.
  • Excellent communication skill.
