A Senior Software Engineer to join a thriving online automobile services company based in the Chichester, West Sussex area.

This is a fantastic time for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and manage my clients lead management software as well as update and maintain several online eCommerce websites within the group of companies that they own.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in OOP, PHP7, Object Oriented Programming methodologies, SQL, JavaScript and standards-compliant XHTML + CSS. Experience using a MVC framework. The role will involve delivering new user and client facing technologies based on their platforms, including advanced web applications and complex Back End scripts.

Knowledge of skills and attributes:

• Experience of writing fresh object-orientated PHP code with the use of 'full stack' MVC frameworks such as Symfony
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles
• Experience of integrating with web services and APIs, including REST endpoints
• Good working experience of using React and any other JS libraries
• GIT
• AWS
• Creating and optimising MySQL databases and writing MySQL queries
• Managing Linux Servers for maintenance and debugging purposes.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with JIRA
• Experience delveoping with open source PHP CMS
• Experience with using boilerpat PHP frameworks such as Laravel
• AJAX
