We are excited to have partnered with a Software provider with over 30 years of operation who provides a suite of products aimed at Wealth and Asset Management companies.

They are looking to hire a Junior Software Developer to join their team based in Birmingham.

This exciting role supports some of the biggest names in finance. You'll ensure flawless execution with a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced development environment and will be involved in all aspects of the agile development life cycle.

This role is hybrid and will require someone on-site twice a week in Birmingham.

Main Activities:

  • Analyse and review client specifications
  • Build new software in line with client specifications
  • Ensure system integrity by performing solution testing
  • Servicing defect management activities
  • Work as part of a Scrum team
  • Estimation and production of development proposals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
  • At least 2 years experience with any programming language
  • Any experience with o Coding languages including C#, Java and C++ would be an advantage
  • Microsoft SQL and operating systems
  • Agile methodologies
