Senior Java Developer - Greenfield - FinTech Start-Up - £70K-£110K

My client is a rapidly expanding Fintech start-up based in London on a mission to make banking easier for small businesses. Becoming a major challenger to some of the world's largest banks has attracted a number of top investors in their sector. Continuously investing in Greenfield projects, this is a great opportunity for a senior Java developer to join an innovative and growing start-up which focuses on collaboration and creativity at the centre of all its projects.

The team are looking for a highly skilled Java developer, with experience of cloud architecture, microservices and AWS to work on their mobile-first business banking applications. The successful candidate will also possess leadership qualities and/or experience as a team lead, plus be motivated to work in an agile environment.

The successful candidate can expect to receive £70K to £110K base salary, plus a competitive bonus and benefits package.

Required Skills

  • Java 8
  • 4+ years' software development experience
  • Experience of AWS Cloud architecture
  • Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot or other Java framework.
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Strong educational pedigree (Comp Sci, Engineering or Maths preferred)
