Product Manager (Agile) - Austin

Are you a Product Manager that enjoys working in an agile environment and is looking for your next challenging and rewarding opportunity? Then this is the position for you!

Our teams are setup in pods that consist of a UX designer, a product manager, and 2-4 developers. This group has tremendous latitude to experiment with various product initiatives, with the goal to develop and create the most useful, intuitive, and value-added features for the business. For this reason, we seek someone that likes taking an idea, building a hypothesis to hold value, pulling it through discovery and delivering it. You will participate in monthly executive meetings, so you must feel comfortable presenting.

This is a 6-12 month contract to hire position in Austin, Texas.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2+ years of professional Product Management experience

  • 1+ year of pure Agile experience (sprint planning, stand-ups, guiding a team through iterations, etc)

  • Experience with MVP technique - understand and build with keeping iterations in mind

  • Experience interactivity with your direct customer or end user - user research

  • Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders

  • Experience using tools to determine value that a request has from an end user

  • Experience taking an idea, building hypotheses to hold value, and pulling it through discovery and delivery

  • Experience identifying and analysing root-cause issues and turning them into actionable solutions

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Bachelor's degree.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • MBA in related field

  • Retail industry working with products at enterprise-level
