Hardware Development Engineer (German Speaking) (Permanent)

Location: Zurich Canton Country: Switzerland Rate: Very Competitive
 

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Hardware Development Engineer (German Speaking). The role is a permanent position based in Zürich Canton with good home office allowance.

Your Role:

  • Concept & design hardware in Embedded systems with analogue, digital & RF components.
  • Create specifications & concepts in cooperation with worldwide partners.
  • Create hardware-related software drivers.
  • Support the support, test & production departments in technical matters.
  • Supervise & further develop existing reader modules.
  • Work with state-of-the-art technologies & integrate them into products.

Your Skills:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in Hardware Development.
  • Skilled & experienced in PCB development tools, preferably Altium Designer or similar.
  • Any experience in C for programming drivers & creating test workflows with Python scripts is considered advantageous.

Your Profile:

  • Completed Higher Education/University Degree Electronic Engineering (or similar).
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, team-oriented & enthusiastic to take on responsibilities & stay up to date with new technologies.
  • Fluent in English & a very good command of German (spoken & written) are mandatory requirements (German at B2 level as a minimum, and preferably at C1 level).
