SAP Project Lead (Contract)
Location: Denmark Rate: competitive
Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a strong SAP Project Lead to join an exciting project for a global client.
What You'll Do:.
- Project Alignment: Ensure alignment of your projects with parallel Digital initiatives and programs within the group.
- Solution Design: Organize and deliver solution design and all project deliverables, including scoping, solutions design, implementation, test plans, migration, technical architecture, deployment, and hypercare.
- Budget Management: Develop and follow-up on project budgets in line with Digital and iSHIFT program guidelines.
- Reporting: Manage all project activity reporting to program management, project sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify, formalize, and communicate risks and issues to Program Management.
- Staffing and Planning: Define project organization, manage staffing, and follow-up on schedules, tasks, and resources.
- Team Management: Manage internal team members and external support from consulting firms.
- Implementation Partner Coordination: Organize work with implementation partner leads and follow up on resources and quality issues.
- Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Ensure solution documentation, knowledge transfer, and upskilling within the team. Propose documentation templates and deliverable formats.
- Scoping Studies and New Projects: Be the first point of contact for scoping studies and new projects. Identify opportunities, lead and deliver scoping studies, and build workload and cost estimates.
- Solution Design: Lead the design of solutions based on industry best practices and business needs in collaboration with Business Enablement and Solution Delivery teams.
- Development and Testing: Lead documentation and execution of system configuration, unit-tests, integration, and system tests, and user acceptance tests.
- Migration and Go-Live: Lead documentation and execution of cut-over activities, update training documents, organize training sessions, and lead go-live support and hypercare activities.
- AMS Transition: Lead the transfer of projects to AMS in line with entry criteria.
Main Interfaces/Relationships:
- Internal: Collaborate with global and local business units (Finance/SBS, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing), and DIGITAL partners and contributors (Application teams, DIGITAL TECH, Architecture, factories, AMS).
- External: Work with implementation partners, consulting firms, and SAP.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of business processes in finance, sales, supply chain, and manufacturing, preferably in the Pharmaceutical/FMCG industry.
- Proven experience managing diversified teams of SAP experts and consultants.
- Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficient in Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Experience working in major IT consulting firms as a Program Delivery Manager.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and general IT Management tools.
