Mid Level Software Developer (Permanent)

Location: Bristol Country: UK Rate: £40,000 to £60,000

I'm working with a down-to-earth company that gives its dev team the autonomy to lead changes and make a significant impact on the platform.

They are on a mission to bring all development in-house.

The team is building, and we are still keen to speak with passionate and experienced Developers who may be interested in joining this journey.

The role is mostly remote, with occasional visits to their Bristol office.

Ideally, you'd go to Bristol once a week, but there's some flexibility.

You must have the right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance of Bristol.

They're looking for Mid-Level Developers experienced in Node.js and interested in working with AWS and MongoDB. If you have experience with GitHub, Time Series Data, PHP, MySQL, or IoT, that's a bonus.

One of the first tasks which is underway, will be to rewrite and modernize a platform that was originally built in PHP, adding microservices. They're keeping a small part of their offshore team to handle bug fixes and other issues to allow the team to focus on writing clean code.

This is a genuine greenfield project, and you'll be joining a team of smart, collaborative people. It's a great time to join as they have a lot of investment, giving you the time to write good code. You'll get the start-up feel without the risk of joining a start-up.

The salary ranges from £40,000 to £60,000, depending on your experience.

If you're interested in a Node.js role, please apply. I'm happy to discuss the role and the company in more detail.
