An Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer is now needed to join my R&D client working both NPD and existing product development throughout the full life cycle. The company also carry out everything in house right from conception through to having their own manufacturing facility so you will truly be a part of the end to end life cycle working alongside production, manufacturing, Electronics and Mechanical.
Your role as their Embedded Software Engineer will be to work within the Software/Electronics team working on products related to the automotive industry programming in C or C++ in an Embedded environment. The company offer a hybrid working policy and this is an opportunity to be missed!
Core skills include:-
- Embedded Software
- C/C++
- RTOS/Bare Metal
- Debugging
- Communication protocols - CAN/LIN/Bluetooth
- Understanding of at least one of the following:- ARM/NSP/STM/Infineon
- Appreciation of how the hardware interfaces with the Embedded Software
- Experience of the full product life cycle, design for manufacture, design for test, engineering version control
