Our not-for-profit healthcare client is URGENTLY seeking a tenured Project manager to join its Data and Digital Transformation team in the UK business. Whilst the team has, since 2018, delivered many great digital initiatives, there are still many more to deliver under the current digital strategy and in 2025 the new Digital Strategy will bring further new opportunities for an experienced Project Manager to immerse themselves in digital transformation and service improvement, ensuring stakeholders/users have the best possible experience from the digital technology employed.
The projects will be vast and varied ranging from HR, mobile applications, net zero carbon, stock management, assets and risk management to smaller service Pathway changes.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years working experience as a project manager
- Experience of managing both IT/Digital and business process/change projects
- Thorough understanding of current and emergent digital and technological landscape
- Demonstrable experience of leading and managing multiple projects concurrently in a complex environment
- End-to-end project management experience from planning, executing, monitoring/controlling and closing
- Strong understanding of all aspects of an agile product development life cycle, including product strategy development, story writing and requirements definition, backlog prioritisation, development, QA and launch
- Experience of leading tendering and RFPs
- Understanding of risk and issue mitigation, and when to escalate
- Naturally strong ability to build and maintain highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong understanding of all aspects of project methodology. PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is advantageous
- Understanding of Azure and other cloud based environments is advantageous
- Experience in working on IT/digital transformation projects within the healthcare sector is advantageous
