Director of Data Infrastructure and Statistics (Permanent)

Location: Manchester Country: UK Rate: Up to £85k per annum + Benefits

Manchester - 1 day a week on site
Salary: £85K

This is an amazing opportunity to join my client in the Ed tech industry as their director of data infrastructure and statistics, as you bridge the gap between data and their customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Champion the use of statistical data to support decision-making processes.
  • Represent the client at external events acting as an ambassador and sometimes public speaking.
  • Bridging the gap between data and the customers
  • Manage the clients the output product life cycle- creating and delivering product road maps.
  • Ensure the combined needs of the company and their various statutory customers are met
  • Managing the delivery of data to their internal users
  • Manage and monitor the budget for the group
  • Be an advocate for the possibilities of data-linking and for a consistent approach to related statistics.
  • Work with other heads of the team to ensure management decisions align

Requirements:

  • Ability to lead word class official statistics and communicating their value to audiences
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to motivate and inspire the internal team
  • Ability to create a customer focused strategy to develop existing and new data-based products and services
  • Prior experience in managing and navigating complex relationships
  • Able to handle difficult situations and finds the best resolution
  • Strong people skills
