Job Title: Security Engineer

Location: London, 3 days p/w hybrid.

Duration: 12 month initial

Day Rate: £650pd Inside IR35 (can be flexible DOE)

Start Date: ASAP

This will be a 2 stage interview process with 1st stage interviews conducted tomorrow.

My client is looking for a Security Engineer to join their end client, in the insurance space on an initial 12 month basis. They are looking for someone with a Systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving who has a sound understanding of threat analysis and threat analysis intelligence feeds.

Role Responsibilities:

- Helping setup, configure, and tune Identity Access Management solutions.

- Working with Infrastructure as a Code

- Knowledge of attacks on applications and the relationships to threats and vulnerabilities

- Advising development teams how to implement steps to automate security tools ie Static Application Security Testing (SAST) or Software Composition Analysis (SCA) as part of the build

- General Security testing including penetration testing.

- In-depth vulnerability management, resolution and patching, extensively managing vulnerabilities and patching Servers and endpoints both ephemeral and virtual.

- Developing policies, processes and procedures

- Identifying and executing on opportunities to embed security into design processes from the start

Key Skills:

- Microsoft Azure AD (administration and support)/Sentinel/Defender

- Threat analysis/EASM tools

- Penetration testing exp.

- Application security including DAST & SAST.

- Knowledge of common security risk frameworks (eg OWASP, NIST, ISO)

- Microsoft threat analysis and EASM tools

- Security baseline knowledge
