C++ Developer (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £100k - £130k per annum + Bonus + Benefits

My client is global hedge fund operating across all major asset classes and financial products. The fund pursues automated algorithmic execution strategies as it's main source of operation within financial markets, and places IT personal in a central role when it comes to business strategy and focus.

The Front Office Trading Team is currently hiring for multiple C++ Developers with prior experience in a trading environment to help design and develop it's cutting edge trading platform. The role is broad in scope and will involve working on connectivity, execution, algo trading and pricing.

We are ideally looking for candidates in the mid-level experience range (3-8 years)

Required skills:

- 3+ years of experience as a C++ Developer with either a buyside institution, major investment bank or FAANG company

- A solid and demonstrable understanding/experience with any of the following: automated trading, algo trading, connectivity, execution, market making, options trading

Nice to have:

- Excellent academic qualifactions

- Current experience working for a financial market maker
