IT Project Manager - Remote/London - £400 per day Umbrella (Contract)

We are recruiting for an IT Project Manager to work on contract for a leading Service Provider. The role will be hybrid between their London offices and remote.
Experience working on a complex storage migration programme.
Proven experience in project management or VDO roles, preferably in the IT sector. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Knowledge of project management methodologies (eg, Agile, Waterfall). Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Proactive attitude towards compliance issues.
Lead, organize, and facilitate all governance meetings, ensure meetings align with agendas and objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to schedule and coordinate meetings efficiently and consolidation of actions/risks/issues/actions to provide trends maintaining a portfolio RAID. Capture detailed and accurate minutes for all governance meetings. Summarize discussions, decisions, and action items. Distribute MoMs promptly to meeting participants and stakeholders.
Portfolio Meeting Decks & Action Item Tracking
Work closely with workstream leads and program managers to prepare key governance meeting presentations. Ensure meeting decks are up-to-date and align with organizational goals. Maintain a comprehensive action item log stemming from governance meetings, actively follow up on action items, ensuring timely completion. Collaborate closely with workstream leads and program managers to monitor progress.
Data and Trend Analysis
Conduct comprehensive data analysis and trend assessments to support project management activities within the VDO. Collect, organize, and analyse project-related data to identify patterns, performance metrics, and key trends, offering valuable insights for decision-making. Develop and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to present data-driven analyses to the VDO team, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Maintaining PCR Log & Third-Party Invoice Log
Manage and maintain the Project Change Request (PCR) log, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all change requests. Facilitate regular reviews of the PCR log with the VDO Lead. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather details on proposed changes, assess impacts, and update the PCR log with relevant information. Maintain the Third-Party Invoice log, tracking and organizing all invoices from external vendors and service providers associated with project activities. Provide timely and accurate information from the Third-Party Invoice log for financial reporting and analysis.
Process Enhancement
Continuously assess and improve VDO processes, tools, and templates. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and increase efficiency. Implement best practices in project and program management.
Risk Management
Assist in the identification and assessment of project risks. Collaborate with project teams to develop risk mitigation plans. Monitor the resolution of issues and the execution of risk mitigation strategies.
