Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented OneStream Developer with a strong background in accounting to join our team, initially on a contract basis with potential for a longer-term position as a system administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Group's OneStream application with a focus on working with the financial reporting and planning teams to streamline financial processes and reporting. As a key member of the Group's OneStream administration team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective utilization of OneStream for financial consolidation, planning, and reporting.

The developer will contribute to the completion of the current implementation project, working with the project team, business users and the project implementation partners and transition to working alongside the businesses to understand and develop post go live improvements.

Responsibilities

1. OneStream Development
Design, develop, and implement OneStream applications tailored to meet the organization's financial consolidation, planning, and reporting requirements.
Working alongside the businesses to implement post go live development improvements.
Customize and optimize OneStream workflows, forms, rules, and reports to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy.

2. Financial Process Optimisation
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through the use of OneStream.
Implement best practices for financial consolidation and reporting within the OneStream platform.

3. Data Integration:
Integrate financial data from various sources into OneStream, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Develop and maintain data interfaces between OneStream and other financial systems.

4. User Training and Support:
Provide training to end-users on OneStream functionalities and best practices.
Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to OneStream applications.

5. Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for OneStream applications, configurations, and processes.
Ensure adherence to documentation standards and keep documentation up to date.
Preferred qualifications and experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as an OneStream Developer with a focus on financial planning-related projects.
Strong understanding of financial accounting and planning principles and processes.
Proficient in designing and developing OneStream applications, including knowledge of workflows, forms, rules, and reports.
Experience with data integration and interfacing between OneStream and other financial systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of Scripting languages (eg, SQL, VBScript) for customization in OneStream.
Familiarity with other financial systems and their integration with OneStream.
Experience in finance or accounting roles is a plus.
