SAS Data Engineer (Contract)

Location: Glasgow, Scotland Country: UK Rate: £450.0 - £550.0 per day +
 

Your new company
A public sector organisation based within Glasgow. They have been transforming their IT function for a number of years and are seeing the benefits of aligning their technology team with the wider goals of the business. Having been recruiting and raising head count steadily over this time, they are looking to hire a Data Engineer to assist with the next phase of their projects in flight.

Your new role
As a SAS Certified DI Developer you will work with the latest tools and technologies to work towards business objectives in line with the goals of the wider transformation.

You will be familiar with technologies such as;

  • SAS DI Studio
  • Base SAS
  • SAS Macro
  • SAS Admin
  • SAS 9.4

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience of the following;
* Supporting the Design/Build and Implementation of the FWA Project
* Problem solving issues faced getting the tools integrated into the PSoS estate to a production ready state.
* Implementing a support framework for the SAS tools when they are in production.
o Data Integration (DI) Studioo Management Console
o Data Lineage
o Business Data Network
o Reference Data Manager
o SAS Studio
o Federation Server
* Training PSoS resources on the best and most effectives use of the SAS toolset.
* Support and refine a development and release framework
* Support GDPR Structured Data Project planning (SAS BDN)
