The Powered Applications teams are communities of business and technology professionals working together through a standardised delivery model. These teams bring functional expertise (eg Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement), deep technology knowledge (including ERP, data, integration and platform services), and experience with enterprise SaaS applications to help clients deliver successful, technology-enabled business transformation programmes.

The Role
We are seeking a senior SAP Data Director to focus on business development, practice growth, asset creation, and delivery of SAP-enabled transformation programmes. This is a high-profile leadership role requiring a balance of sales origination, practice building, and client delivery. It offers a unique opportunity to shape and grow an SAP data capability within a large consulting environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading origination and pre-sales activities (including RFP responses and direct awards), engaging directly with senior stakeholders (typically C-suite), and managing bid teams with limited support.
• Demonstrating strong commercial acumen by developing proposal constructs and defending commercial rationale with senior leadership.
• Enhancing enterprise transformation offerings through readily deployable assets, demos, and accelerators with clear ROI, with a focus on automation, clean core principles, and AI.
• Authoring external thought leadership, including whitepapers and points of view.
• Maintaining regular engagement with SAP to understand future roadmap direction, align on target accounts, and shape joint offerings.
• Attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining high-calibre talent.
• Acting as senior data architect on complex, flagship client engagements.

The Person
The SAP practice is on a rapid growth trajectory and is seeking self-driven individuals with proven experience who are excited by the opportunity to shape and scale a growing SAP data capability.

Required experience and skills:

• Deep experience selling and delivering across key SAP data domains, including:
  • Migrate: data preparation, migration, governance
  • Orchestrate: integration, processing, cataloguing
  • Cultivate: data quality, central governance, consolidation
• Strong knowledge of SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP MDG, SAP Data Services, and the SAP product roadmap.
• Experience with third-party data migration tools (eg Syniti, SNP) for migrations and carve-outs is advantageous.
• Delivery of 4+ end-to-end SAP programmes as SAP Data Lead.
• Experience selling and delivering under RISE contracts from sales through to go-live.
• Proven track record leading complex, high-profile bids involving S/4HANA and mixed SAP/non-SAP landscapes, with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience maintaining regular collaboration with SAP to drive roadmap alignment and co-innovation.
• Proven capability managing onshore and offshore teams at both engagement and practice level.
• Understanding of SAP's AI roadmap, including development of assets, products, or solutions leveraging AI for client value.
• Experience building reusable assets and accelerators deployed across multiple clients.
