AV Technician (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: Up to £50k per annum
 

Job Title: Audio Visual Technician
Location: London
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 7:00pm (37.5 hours/week, shift basis)
Salary Expectation: Up to £50k

About the Role:

Join a leading global law firm in London as an Audio Visual Technician. Working under the operational supervision of the Technical Support Team Leader and reporting into the IT Customer Services Manager, you'll provide operational support for video conferencing rooms/network and peripherals. This includes setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of video conferencing systems from Cisco, Webex, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. You'll also support large events, provide technical assistance for conference rooms, and collaborate with local, regional, and global peers to ensure seamless delivery of technology services.

Responsibilities:

Set up and support Audio Visual meetings in London office VC rooms.
Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of large events.
Provide technical support for conference rooms at multiple local locations.
Monitor video calls and provide immediate response to connectivity or participant needs.
Troubleshoot and maintain firm standard PCs, specifically Audio Visual equipment.
Document and share Audio Visual expertise with colleagues.
Create and follow up on Service Desk tickets for setup and incidents.
Provide training to local IT staff and assist Desk Side support when available.
Maintain inventory of audio and video equipment.

Requirements:

Experience with video conferencing systems and peripherals.
Technical troubleshooting skills for Audio Visual equipment.
Familiarity with Cisco, Webex, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and provide excellent customer service.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
