Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

We're working with a technology-led organisation that is scaling its cloud-native platform and is now looking to appoint a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer.

This is a hands-on senior role where you'll take ownership of Azure infrastructure, DevOps practices, and cloud security, working closely with architects and development teams in an agile environment. The platform is API-driven and operates at scale, so reliability, performance, and security are critical.

The role

  • Lead the design and delivery of Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Build and manage enterprise-scale landing zones, networking, and security
  • Implement and improve CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep/ARM, and Scripting
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define cloud standards
  • Monitor performance, availability, and cloud costs

The ideal candidate

  • Strong experience as a Senior Azure Cloud/DevOps Engineer
  • Deep knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, and security
  • Proven Infrastructure-as-Code expertise (Terraform, Bicep/ARM)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, SAST/DAST, and cloud monitoring
  • Confident communicator with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset

This is an opportunity to join a business where cloud engineering is central to the product and where senior engineers have real influence over architecture, tooling, and best practice.

Remote/London - mainly based remote but would require occasional visits to London office.
