IT Infrastructure Engineer (LAN/WAN/Vmware)

PLEASE NOTE: This will be an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract

The role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all infrastructure topologies including but not limited to WAN, LAN, MPLS, WIFI, Internet, Servers, Storage and unified communications.

You will ensure all devices are configured and operating in line with industry best practices and IT policies. You will also assist with managing any Infrastructure and Security Projects end to end, this will involve all aspects, planning, communication, implementation and reporting.

Required Skills/Experience:

In depth working knowledge of a diverse array of Infrastructure Technologies that includes.
- Infrastructure technologies including DHCP, DNS, WINS, Active Directory, Group Policy.
- Dell and HP server hardware, include VxRail Systems, FlexPod and ProLiant Servers.
- LAN and WAN technologies and protocols.
- Cisco and Juniper LAN/WLAN components including management platforms.
- Microsoft cloud hosted services and applications including M365, Azure, Entra ID, Teams Telephony.

Desired Skills/Experience:
- NetApp storage systems.
- SolarWinds monitoring.
- PowerShell and automation Scripting.
- VMware vSphere, ESXi/vSAN/vCenter.
