Job Title: Intermediate Building Surveyor/project Manager
Reporting to: Senior Building surveyor

Due to ongoing success and growth, the team is expanding the professional Surveying and Project Management department.

The Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee procurement and delivery of various construction, mechanical, and electrical projects, including:

• New build schemes
• Fire door renewals
• Cladding and window renewals
• New heating and ventilation systems
• Electrical distribution upgrades (power, general and emergency lighting)
• Conduct feasibility studies and condition surveys
• Perform defect analysis and measured surveys
• Write specifications and manage contracts
• Administer projects and act as employer's agent
• Undertake site inspections and chair meetings
• Provide progress reports, including financial monitoring statements
• Support and mentor surveyors aiming for MRICS qualification
• Participate in the annual bonus scheme and staff social events.

• To be successful in this role, you will hold an RICS accredited Building Surveying degree (or similar) and have gained experience working within a Surveying consultancy environment. Experience gained working on education projects is preferred. Demonstrable experience in project management and contract administration is essential. You'll be motivated with a positive attitude and enjoy working with others. The role will be based in the office and will include visiting sites.
