Based in Northern Ireland, your new company are a family run civil engineering and utilities provider. With over 40 years of experience working across the country, this firm have a well-known reputation which continues to grow along with their client base and work force. Specialising in civil engineering, utilities and groundworks, this contractor has a great success record built on the back of consistent excellence in delivery and have recently securing a further, long-term contract with one of the leading broadband/telecom providers in the country. Due to this growth, they now require an additional Project Manager to join their stable management team.Your new role
As Project Manager, your role will include the management of each site and its operatives as well as the Supervisors on the ground. This recently awarded contract will see you looking after sites across primarily the border regions and ensuring the successful rollout for the established provider both on time and on budget.Responsibilities for the Project Manager will typically include but are not limited to

  • The managing and coordinating of each site, its supervisors and the operatives within each site. Making sure audits are complete and that both operative and supervisor are completing their set duties.
  • Efficiently programme/plan the work accurately, excel proficiency will be required. Keeping programming up to date and compliant.
  • Manage the resources from materials, machinery and equipment, making sure the required is available and ensuring the appropriate health and safety is being followed across sites.
  • Work alongside the client to keep the project on track and completed to the best standard, keeping them up to date in all aspects from time frame to work progress.
  • The responsibilities will vary, as you will be working with multiple sites, being innovative to react and adapt responsibly will be crucial. What you'll need to succeed
    To succeed in this role, previous experience working within the telecoms, broadband and fibre sector would be ideal. Ideally you will be a result driven and determined individual with a real focus on maintaining great standards in all aspects across multiple projects.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-respected employer alongside a prominent client. A profound knowledge in different programming, as mentioned excel proficiency will be sufficient along with excellent attention to detail on health and safety compliance and the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.
