Cyber Security Engineer - Public sector/EU Institution, SIEM, SOAR, ISO 27000, Risk management, threat, vulnerability, malware analysis
Long term hybrid working opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer to join my industry leading customer in the Telecommunications industry, and have the opportunity to work on a variety of cutting edge connectivity & communications projects for clients in the Public sector industry (European institutions).
The role of the Cyber Security Engineer will be to review contract documentation and interpret these from a Cyber Security perspective, prepare security management/risk analysis/risk mitigation plans, and finally provide hands on Cyber Security Engineering support to a variety of different projects.
To be successful in this role you must have experience with everything listed below:
- Past experience working in the Public sector for European Institutions
- Experience preparing security management/risk analysis/risk mitigation plans
- Experience with these technologies: Antivirus, Networks, Encryption, Authentication, SIEM and SOAR
- ISO 27000 standards
The ideal candidate will have past experience working on Space based or Satellite based Governmental projects, for customers such as the European Space Agency.
