DevOps Engineer | Long-Term Project | Financial Enterprise

For our renowned client in the banking sector, we are building a robust data-driven strategy to drive innovation and efficiency within our organization. We are seeking a proactive and skilled DevOps & Orchestration Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and enhancement of our data platform.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing and maintaining the orchestration layer for our security capabilities while ensuring seamless integration of frameworks through our CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with team members, stakeholders, and product owners to plan and refine program increments, ultimately enhancing our Central Data Store and Orchestration & Enablement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement features for the orchestration layer to enhance our security capabilities.
• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure proper integration of frameworks in alignment with bank standards.
• Provide operational support to address issues and incidents promptly.
• Foster a collaborative environment within the team, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Assist in planning and refining program increments alongside the team and product owner.

Objectives

• Strengthen the Central Data Store and Orchestration & Enablement capabilities.
• Evolve the Central Data Store into a self-service platform empowering data owners to ingest and retrieve pertinent data.
• Establish the Orchestration & Enablement capability anew within our department.

Requirements

• Visionary thinking regarding the future of data-driven strategies.
• Proficiency in leveraging Azure components for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Competence in API design and implementation.
• Ability to drive DevOps teams towards Agile methodologies collaboratively.
• Embrace an "automate everything" mindset.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Analytical prowess, adept at debugging, impact analysis, root cause identification, testing, and crafting structural solutions.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders, understanding functional requirements, and translating them into technical implementations.
• Thorough understanding of Azure security features, logging, and monitoring services.
• Experience navigating complex environments.
