Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2025 Systems Engineer Intern. In this role, you will be involved in the development of diagnostic data, scheduled maintenance plans and provide opportunities to develop, integrate and test diagnostic tools in the target hardware environment. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of collaborating with multiple organizations to support the release of Maintenance Management Systems (MMS). Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related engineering field

• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Desired Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
