Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the development and maturation of RF signal software-defined prototypes focused on Non-Terrestrial Network SATCOM/5G/6G Technologies such as those used with AST SpaceMobile LEO Satellites.
- Oversee the entire technical product lifecycle, from initial concept through to product launch and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Develop and implement technical strategies to anaerobic performance, reliability, and scalability of RF systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in RF and SDR technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive product innovation.
- Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Implement Best Systems Engineering Design Processes and methods.
- Complete Systems Engineering work products.
Qualificationsul> expl
University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems engineering, focused on RF and SDR technologies. Proven experience in technical leadership and team management. Strong understanding of RF signal processing, modulation techniques, and communication protocols. Proficiency in evaluating and testing SDR and other radio platforms (eg, GNU Radio, MATLAB, Simulink). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with product development and lifecycle management.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for RF systems. - Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- 5G Stack and NTN expertise and experience.
