ComputerWork is an online job board (www.computerwork.com) providing services to job seekers to assist them with finding jobs relevant to their
skills. ComputerWork offers recruiters (Recruitment Agencies and Companies) job posting products and online sourcing tools to connect with our job seekers. ComputerWork is a licenced part of JobServe Limited (Company Number 2847010) whose registered office is at Tower Business Park, Kelvedon Road, Tiptree, Essex, CO5 0LX
Our Privacy Policy applies to all of the job seeker services provided by ComputerWork and its group of companies, including services provided on mobile devices.
Our Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or websites that may be linked from our services. It also does not cover the information
practices of other companies and organisations that advertise our services and that may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads.

When you use our job seeker services, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, home address, telephone number,
LinkedIn URL, website URL, CV and IP address.
How we use the information you provide to us
In order for ComputerWork to provide you with job seeking services we need to collect personal information from you. You provide us with your information in the following ways:
- When you set up an account with us directly or through a third-party
- When you upload a CV
- When you make a job application
- When you set up a job alert
- When you talk to a recruiter on Candidate Chat
- When you use our website or mobile services
- When you talk to us by telephone or on our website by messaging an online advisor or completing a contact/feedback form
- In emails and letters
Data Protection law requires ComputerWork to process your personal information lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner. The law says we are allowed to use your personal
information only if we have proper reason to do so. This includes sharing it outside ComputerWork. We must have one or more of these reasons:

share your information with are obligated to keep your details securely and to only use them to fulfil the service they provide you on our behalf.
When you make a job application
If you submit a job application on our site we will disclose your information to the advertiser of the job. Advertisers are either Recruitment Agencies or Companies.

When you make your CV searchable
We will make your personal information available to Recruitment Agencies and/or Companies based on your access settings.

When you accept an invitation to chat with a recruiter
We will disclose the information you provide in your chat message to the recruiter who invited you to chat.

When it is our legal duty
We may disclose your personal information with a third-party to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation or court order.
If we have new business partners or owners

If you submit a job application for a job on our site that is located outside of the EEA we will disclose your information to the advertiser of the job. This could be a job in
USA, Australia, Canada etc. Advertisers are either Recruitment Agencies or Companies.

Your rights regarding your information
You have genuine choice and control over how we use your personal information.
You have the right to access, update and delete your information at any time. The only reason we would be unable to delete information at your request is where there is a
legitimate legal reason why we are obligated to keep it.
You also have the right to restrict or object to certain kinds of processing of your information, including marketing emails.
Where you have provided consent you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your information is available in a friendly format for you to receive a copy.
We may send you emails if we have your consent or a ‘legitimate interest’ which means we have a business or commercial reason to use your information. You can change your
preferences on your account if you do not want to receive certain types of email, but whatever you choose, you will still receive essential emails about changes to our existing
job seeker services and your account.
You are not obligated to share your personal information with ComputerWork, if you choose not to share your information we may not be able to provide you with our services.
How to access, change, delete or obtain a copy of your information
You have full access to the personal information that we hold about you. When logged into your account you can:
- Access and update your personal information
- Change your preference settings for features like Job Suggestions and Job Alerts
- Change your settings to give or withdraw consent to receive marketing emails
- Change your access settings to give or withdraw consent for making your CV searchable
- See a list of recipients who have downloaded your CV if you have made your CV searchable
- See your recent activity
- Download a friendly format of your personal information
- Delete your personal information and/or your account
Alternatively, you can request a copy of your personal information.
How we protect your information
We hold the personal information on secure systems managed by ComputerWork and its group of companies.
We work hard to protect ComputerWork and our users from unauthorised access to or unauthorised alteration, disclosure or destruction of information that we hold. In particular:
- We review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical and security measures to guard against unauthorised access to systems.
- We restrict access to personal information to ComputerWork employees and software providers who need to use your information to provide our services or respond to your requests.
